The Grace of Sanctification

He makes us not only accepted, but also acceptable. He doth not only purchase love for his saints, but also makes them lovely. He came not by blood only, but by water and blood. He doth not only justify his saints from the guilt of sin, but also sanctify and wash them from the filth of sin. The first is from his life and death as a sacrifice of propitiation; this from his death as a purchase, and his life as an example.

  1. Such is the amazing, awesome love of our wonderful God and Saviour.

2 Cor 5 v 21 – For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Hebrews 10 v 10 – By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Verse 14 – For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
